“The most fun you can have with colouring pencils without stabbing someone with them.” – Aaron Sterns, Co-writer Wolf Creek 2, author Wolf Creek: Origin. Closet artist.
“Absolutely BRILLIANT! I love it. Beyond being a cool coloring book, it’s a wonderfully witty tribute to the whole genre. Bravo!” – Lisa Morton, six-time Bram Stoker Award-winning author and screenwriter.
Bullet Ballerina – a one-shot comic, written by Tom Piccirilli and published by SST Publications. ORDER HERE
“BULLET BALLERINA is a lot of fun. Tom Piccirilli has the sense to play it for laughs (well, pitch black comedy), with noir lite undercurrents and a subtext on the perils of wanting revenge. Along the way, there’s some delightful banter about weapons and interludes with street characters trying to shoehorn themselves into the story, while as a coda to the main story we get to see a side of Ellie that suggests she is an embryonic sociopath. Moral of the story: never piss off a wannabe ballerina, as those pumps can be deadly. The book is in full colour throughout, with artist Greg Chapman providing some sterling illustrations to bring the text to life, giving his characters an almost mythic quality even as he reveals how very human they are, his images in perfect counterpoint to Piccirilli’s words.”–BLACK STATIC MAGAZINE
“It ain’t easy to combine funny and dark, but Piccirilli and Chapman have done it brilliantly! More, please!” –Leslie S. Klinger, editor, New Annotated Sherlock Holmes, New Annotated H. P. Lovecraft, and Annotated Sandman
